Tuntex Roadshow – To the Philippines

In order to let more consumers in the Filipino market understand Tuntex’s philosophy, brand story, and products, Tuntex’s Chief Technology Officer, Colin Crawford, together with the Global Marketing Manager, Liuwei Zhao, took a trip to Manila, Philippines to co-host our roadshow series with Tuntex’s Southeast Asia Regional Manager, Edmund Goh. 

Visitors at the two-day exhibition included core design teams, architects, and dealers from companies such as SDW, Goudie Associates, HBO+EMTB, and many other great firms who were excited about Tuntex’s 2019 new products. At the conference, Tuntex introduced new carpet designs for the Classic Collection, R.O.A. Reinvented Collection, and LVT. The guests at the show noted they were amazed by the variety of styles and colours Tuntex offers.

When it comes to interior design, designers reflected that their main concern has always been how visually appealing the space looks, but they must also make sure their customers feel comfortable in thWe room they designed. Hence, they all agreed that Tuntex’s ability to produce well-designed carpet while pursuing sustainability and enhancing the products’ resistance against stain, dust, spots, spills, and mildew is amazing.

At the roadshows, guests were invited to participate in a demo for one of Tuntex’s exclusive treatments on its carpets: Ecofresh, a self-renewal odour reducer. They personally experienced the difference between a carpet tile with Ecofresh and one without, witnessing how the treatment can get rid of the smell of Ammonia within 15 minutes. All the designers, architects, and dealers were impressed by the functions Tuntex carpets provide, especially the built-in dustproof and mildew resistance, eliminating the stereotype of carpets being the home of mold and micro-organisms.

This roadshow not only gave Tuntex the opportunity to hold more face-to-face communication with professionals from different industries, but also strengthened the company’s determination to continue pursuing Tuntex’s goals: Always aim to challenge ourselves and progress towards innovation while deepening our relationships with our customers by listening and understanding them better.
