Our carpets are tufted on two kinds of backings: Recycled Tuntex Commercial Duraback and Recyclable Tuntex Commercial Duraback.
In addition, since the carpet manufacturing process requires a lot of water, Tuntex has been committed to reducing water pollution since 1995.
Why? According to research, by 2050, 47% of the world's population will struggle to find drinkable water. What's more shocking and worrying is that 80% of the treated wastewater still continues to pollute sewers, making it more difficult for people to access clean water resources.
In order to reduce the pollution to the environment, we have installed wastewater purifier at the factory to filter and biologically treat the water used our production process, recycling and making full use of all our water resources.The tretated water is actually purer than tap water! On average, the amount of water needed by a carpet factory is approximately 70 thousand tons annually. Imagine how much pollution Tuntex would have caused if it didn't use wastewater purification equipment!
